Overview

The Action Menu is a split-button in the extension popup. The primary button copies the page as Markdown in one click. Click the ↑ arrow to expand a dropdown with all available actions.

Available actions

Copy page

Copy the current page as Markdown for LLMs. This is the default primary action.

View as Markdown

Open the current page as clean plain text in a new tab — useful for reading or sharing without an AI.

Open in ChatGPT

Convert the page and send it directly to chatgpt.com to ask questions about it.

Open in Claude

Convert the page and send it directly to claude.ai to ask questions about it.

Open in Perplexity

Convert the page and send it directly to perplexity.ai to ask questions about it.

How to use

Click the primary button

Click Copy page to instantly copy the current page as Markdown. No dropdown needed for the most common action.

Open the dropdown

Click the ↑ arrow on the right side of the button to reveal all available actions.

Choose an action

Select an action from the menu. “View as Markdown” and AI options open in a new tab automatically.

Why a split button?

Previously, you needed to go into Settings to switch between Copy, Send to AI, or View modes. The Action Menu exposes all actions at once — no settings navigation required.
Use Copy page for quick clipboard workflows. Use the AI shortcuts when you want to immediately ask questions about a page’s content.
