Overview

Batch Convert lets you convert multiple pages in a single operation. Perfect for research sessions, bookmarked articles, or archiving multiple pages at once.

Two input modes

Paste URLs

Enter multiple URLs (one per line) and convert them all at once.

Open the Batch tab

Click the Batch tab in the Web2MD popup.

Paste your URLs

Enter URLs one per line in the text area. You can paste from a spreadsheet, notes, or any source.

Start conversion

Click Convert All to begin. Each URL is processed sequentially.

Open Tabs

Select from currently open browser tabs to convert multiple pages at once.

Switch to Open Tabs mode

In the Batch tab, switch to the Open Tabs view.

Select tabs

Check the tabs you want to convert. All convertible tabs in the current window are listed.

Start conversion

Click Convert All to process all selected tabs.

Progress tracking

During batch conversion, you’ll see real-time progress:
  • Progress bar with percentage completion
  • Individual status for each URL:
StatusMeaning
PendingWaiting to be processed
ConvertingCurrently being converted
SuccessConversion completed
ErrorConversion failed (e.g. page not reachable)
SkippedURL was invalid or not supported

Results

After completion, you’ll see a summary:
  • Total successful conversions
  • Total failed / skipped conversions
  • Actions: Copy All (all results combined) or Download All (individual .md files)
Click New Batch to start another batch conversion.
Batch conversion works best with article pages and blog posts. Dynamic single-page apps may produce less consistent results.
